  • Condition: This is a true antique coming from my grandfather, probably from the 1900s. The medal made of galvanized gilded metal (gold plated) shows some wear. The pencil still has a lead in it.

    Description

    This watch fob belongs to my maternal grandfather.
    The religious medal representing the Virgin Mary with floral patterns, lilies and roses, it is made of galvanized gild.
    The representation is definitely Art Deco so I think this is dated from the 1920s my grandfather died in the early 30s.
    The medal clasp is stamped Murat; there are many stamps style and this is is definitely from the 20s
    This watch fob has a swivel dog clasp and a black ribbon AND very unusual, a miniature mechanical pencil.
    All is original as well as the box with a satin padding
    I just added to the list religious medals, ask for more photos if interested.  The price stays the same. The oldest medals are from my paternal grandmother, they are from Notre dame de Laghet, in La Trinite close to Nice. They are silver plated as well as the Saint Christopher.  The others are mine blue enamel and brass.
