2-in-1 Flipline with 1/2" Sirius rope.
20 feet long with Fusion Amp 25kn Steel snaps.
8mm Ocean Polyester prusik with 32kn SMC ring.
When used with a hip-prusik or 2-way adjuster, 2-in-1 fliplines allow the tree climber to use both ends of the flipline to safely climb past branches without ever being unsecured.
This 2 in 1 Lanyard feature a prusik loop attached to a lanyard with 2 double locking snaps attached to each end. This configuration makes ascending trees from the ground up easier, safer, and more efficient. When the climber reaches a limb or crotch, they can simply unsnap one end of the lanyard, place it over the limb and attach it back to their saddle. By keeping the prusik on the lanyard always connected to the saddle and leap frogging the other ends over each other, it maximizes safety. 2 in 1 lanyards still need to be adjusted with 2 hands.
Wrap one end around a limb or spar and clip it into the SMC ring to choke around the limb. Connect the to center attachment point on your harness with your own carabiner. Now you have a LONG SRT line to use to move about the canopy. I would recommend a Pinto pulley and an additional prusiks (not supplied) at your center attachment point, this allows for SRT and DDRT possibilities.
