ARTIST BEAR OOAK VINTAGE (ANTIQUE STYLE) GERMAN MOHAIR TEDDY BY SUSAN BRACK (late 1980's / 1990's)
Teddy is looking for a forever home. He come's from a private collection (non-smoker, no pets). Meet "Buttercrunch", he was handmade by Teddy Bear Artist And Illustrator Susan Brack. "Buttercrunch" is in excellent vintage condition (no tears, stains or moths). He is signed by the Artist on the bottom of his left foot pad (as shown in photo). He has a "slightly worn" original tag + the ORIGINAL SCHULTE MOHAIR SINCE 1901 EARTH FRIENDLY tag.
"Buttercrunch" is 16" tall (12" while sitting). He is made of blonde/beige German mohair with German wool paw and foot pads (light reflection has made the paw and foot pads look to be different colors),  stitched pearl cotton nose & claws, hand blown glass eyes & premium poly-fil stuffing.
"Buttercrunch" is fully articulated (including his head) and he has a gold bow around his neck.
THE ARTIST IS BEST KNOWN FOR HER BEARS, SANTA FIGURES AND ILLUSTRATIONS. HER WORK HAS BEEN LICENSED OVER THE YEARS TO COMPANIES LIKE LEISURE ARTS AND BETTER HOMES AND GARDENS. SHE ALSO HAS DESIGNED FOR THE HOME DECOR INDUSTRY. SUSAN'S TEDDY BEAR PAPER DOLLS WERE OFTEN FEATURED IN POPULAR BEAR MAGAZINES.
"Buttercrunch" is from a Private Collection and is definitely a favorite of mine.
