This listing is for a Vintage c1947 Fob that is made from 10K Yellow Gold and is from the New York State Police School.
This item was recently purchased from an estate.
The New York State School for Police was Established in 1921 in Troy, NY.
in 1961 the name was changed to the New York State Police Academy and moved from Troy to Loudonville, NY.
The back of this Fob has Initials as well as C 101. (Which I suspect is Troop C, (and I was told the 101 might be the Class number?)

SIGNED:
The Main fob is marked on the front with New York SPS 47 (for New York State Police School 1947)
The back is marked 10K and a makers mark and it is personalized with Initials (JRA) as well as 'C' - 101
DIMENSIONS:
This item measures about 1 1/8" tall from the top of the hanging hole on the top of the fob to the bottom of the Fob (NOT including the jump ring)
This item is about 9/16" wide

The main fob weighs 4.7 grams (NOT including the jump ring that is gold filled.
CONDITION:
The Gold has some small dings, dimples, nicks, scratches, scuffs, wear and imperfections in some areas.
The Gold has some wear to the details of the designs -areas where the details are worn a bit smooth.
The gold has some patina, tarnish and discoloration in areas as well and could use a cleaning/touch up polish in areas (if desired).
The jump ring is NOT Solid gold, it is gold filled/base metal.
