Description
I am pleased to offer from my private collection this important historical WWI German 14k solid gold pocket watch fob c1916 belonged to Albert Göring(the younger brother of Herman Göring.).
The fob is engraved with his personal coat of arms(the same like Herman Georing's coat of arms with only one difference-the hand holds a dagger.)
Albert Günther Göring (9 March 1895 – 20 December 1966) was a German engineer and businessman and the younger brother of Hermann Göring (the head of the German Luftwaffe). In contrast to his brother, Albert was opposed to Nazism, and he helped Jews and others who were persecuted in Germany. He was shunned in post-war Germany because of his family name, and he died without any public recognition for his humanitarian efforts.
The fob is made of solid 14k gold,16g heavy. Engraved with the date 16.11.1916.
The gold fob is attached to the original black silk ribbon.
18cm long in total.
Excellent original condition.
