    .  Often used on forestry fire hoses or any 1-1/2" hose where a water-tite, quick release or attachment of hose is needed. The female pipe thread side is tapered and will need Teflon paste or tape for a water-tite connection.
    Adapter may have "black powder coated finish" or bright aluminum as pictured.
